We do not offer bridal trials prior to booking. As a team that completes over 250 weddings each year, our artists book out quickly, and trials done too early often happen before a bride truly knows what she wants. We encourage you to explore our extensive portfolio and reviews — they reflect the consistency, experience, and quality of our work.Once your date is secured, you are welcome to schedule a trial at any time.If something doesn’t feel quite right after your trial, we’re here to help. Most adjustments can be made easily with a few tweaks on the wedding day, and we always encourage open communication. If you feel you didn’t fully connect with your assigned artist, we can revisit the look, redo the trial, or in rare cases switch artists to ensure you feel confident and supported.Trial Pricing: Monday – Thursday: $125 for makeup, $125 for hair, +$25 for hair extension styling. Friday - Sunday: $200 for makeup, $200 for hair, +$25 for hair extension styling. We do not style on Saturdays.

In order to reserve your date, a deposit is required with a signed contract. The deposit is applied to your services.

On average, weddings begin to book up to 18 months in advance.

During peak wedding season (May–October), we kindly ask for a $500 minimum per artist for all on‑location bookings. This allows us to reserve your date, staff your morning appropriately, and provide the level of service and travel time your wedding day deserves. We understand that every wedding is unique, and some situations may not fit perfectly into our minimums. If you’re unsure whether your services qualify, it’s always best to inquire with us directly — we’re happy to take a look at your details and see what’s possible.

Bridal beauty teams provide a different level of service than solo artists. When you book a team, you’re investing in guaranteed coverage, a two‑artist setup for a smoother and faster morning, professional timeline management, and full admin/coordination behind the scenes. We also bring premium products, strict sanitation standards, and on‑location convenience. It’s a more reliable, organized, and elevated experience from start to finish.

Initially upon booking, you’re guaranteed at least one makeup artist and/or one hairstylist at no additional cost. For larger groups — typically 8–9 services or more — we require additional artists to keep the morning running smoothly and stress‑free. If your timeline is tighter or you simply prefer a faster, more relaxed getting‑ready experience, we can add more artists as needed. Each additional artist is $100, plus any applicable travel fees.

Yes! All wedding day services are done on-site at your home, hotel, or venue. That’s what makes our services great, we are mobile!Travel within 15 miles of Pewaukee, WI is subject to a $40 travel fee per artist or stylist. Beyond a 15-mile radius from our studio in Pewaukee, WI, an additional fee of $1.00 per mile per artist applies.

Yes. As a mobile salon, our artists and stylists bring everything to you! That includes all makeup and hair supplies to complete services. It's your day to feel confident and comfortable.

Yes! Additional fees relating to flights, transportation, lodging, and per diems will apply for all destination weddings. Inquire within for accurate pricing.

Melissa’s goal is to be completely transparent with all of her clients. Her personal services are in high demand as a makeup artist and is booked on a 1st come 1st serve basis. To reserve Melissa specifically, there is a $100 retention fee. This fee is not a deposit, but a fee to ensure Melissa will be part of your wedding day. If Melissa, is unavailable, you will be assigned another highly skilled and professional makeup artist. Melissa Ann Artistry + Co., is made up of a team of completely skilled and qualified beauty professionals.

Yes. We are 100% insured. We can provide a proof of liability certificate for your venue, upon request. Many venues will not allow other vendors onsite without proof of insurance for liability purposes.

While trials are not required, many brides choose to schedule them 3-4 months prior to their wedding to ensure a seamless experience. We do not book trials prior to securing your wedding date, and due to our busy wedding schedule, weekend trial availability is limited. If a weekend trial is requested, please understand that it may need to be scheduled in the afternoon. Some artists have their own studios and others only provide on-location accommodations. We will provide you with more details when you are ready to book your trial. If your artist is Melissa herself, you will be going to the Pewaukee, WI location.

The trial is set for one look and is given 60 mins for each service. If you would like multiple looks, we can schedule back-to-back trial looks for you. We offer both! Traditional makeup refers to the use of liquid, cream, or powdered foundations that are applied with a range of makeup tools including: Fiber brushes, Sponges, and or Foundation brushes. One of the main reasons why so many women still prefer to use traditional makeup is that the available options are much more varied compared to what’s available for airbrush makeup lineup. With traditional makeup there are a plethora of formulations for all types of skin, offering anything from light to full coverage. Airbrush makeup refers to the use of foundation, sprayed onto the skin. Some are silicone based while others are water based. Regardless of their bases, the foundations are much thinner than traditional foundations. The airbrush makeup is applied in thin layers to the skin, which allows for an even, smooth finished look when applied properly. Because the spray is very finely misted, it provides you with a flawless finish that helps even out the skin tone without weighing the skin down.

Strip lashes are provided for all makeup applications. They range from natural to dramatic depending on your desired look.

All of the makeup and hair products used are professional brands that were designed to give long-lasting results and photograph beautifully. We carry a range of products from different brands to accommodate all skin and hair types. If you are allergic or have special requests, please inquire within.

If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. We use professional, high‑quality products, but every skin type is unique, and reactions can vary. You are always welcome to bring your own products that you know your skin can tolerate. The cost of your service remains the same, but please note that we cannot guarantee the same longevity, finish, or performance when using outside products, as they may behave differently than the formulas in our professional kits.Our goal is always to keep you comfortable, safe, and confident — and we’re happy to work with you to create a look that fits both your vision and your skin’s needs.

Makeup Prep: To ensure the best possible application and longevity of your makeup, please arrive with a freshly cleansed face. Do not apply any moisturizers, serums (especially hyaluronic acid), or SPF prior to your appointment. These products can interfere with the makeup’s adherence and longevity, particularly for airbrush applications. If your makeup artist recommends a specific product for your skin type, they will advise you on what to use beforehand. If you have any open sores or skin concerns, your artist will determine whether services can be performed. Hair Prep: For optimal styling results, please follow these guidelines: Hair should be clean and dry, no more than one day old. Our stylists do not travel with hair dryers, so arriving with damp or wet hair may result in refusal of service. If your hair is naturally textured, please arrive with it relaxed or blown out if you do not plan to use your natural curl. If you prefer a blowout before styling, please inform Melissa in advance so it can be scheduled accordingly. We like our hairstylists to see your hair in its natural state during the trial. They may suggest adjustments to better suit your final wedding day style. An additional fee applies for excessively dirty, unwashed, or wet hair.

Whatever works out best in your day of schedule. However we prefer the bride to go towards the end of the group for services.

The bride is provided with a touch up bag. With her own custom lip color, for the day in a sample container. However, bridesmaids and other wedding attendants receiving services we use lip products that are long wearing, however will not last all day. Lipstick is the only thing you will need to touch-up.

Melissa personally coordinates a detailed wedding day schedule to ensure a seamless beauty experience. This customized timeline will be finalized 60 days before the wedding to accommodate all styling needs and ensure everything runs smoothly on your special day.

When our artists and stylists finish, they’ll do a full final check — securing any loose pieces, setting makeup, and making sure lashes look perfect.Any services that require our team to stay beyond the scheduled end time (such as first‑look touch‑ups, photo touch‑ups, or post‑ceremony checks) are considered additional. Please inquire if you’d like this added. We charge $125 per hour, per artist for any extended touch‑up time needed for first looks, after‑ceremony needs, or other requested on‑site support.

Please note: While our team uses professional, long‑wear, and water‑resistant products, certain conditions can affect the longevity of both hair and makeup on a wedding day. These include:• Heat, humidity, and high dew points   Moisture in the air can soften curls, loosen pins, and break down makeup — even when applied correctly and reinforced.• Sweat   Sweat contains oils that naturally lift makeup and can cause foundation or eye makeup to shift, especially during outdoor ceremonies, dancing, or high‑heat days.• Tears   Tears contain salt and oils, which move makeup even when waterproof formulas are used. Blotting (not wiping) is essential to maintaining the look.• Touching the face or hair   Running fingers through styled hair, wiping tears, hugging, or adjusting accessories can disrupt the style or move product.Our artists take every professional step to ensure your look lasts as long as possible, and we will always provide guidance on how to care for your hair and makeup throughout the day. However, no product or technique can guarantee complete resistance to weather, sweat, or emotional moments.We encourage all brides to review our prep tips and follow recommended care instructions to help maintain their look from morning through evening.

Yes! If your venue doesn’t have an ideal space for you and your bridal party to get ready, we absolutely do.   The Cornerlight Studio is our private studio suite designed specifically for wedding mornings — bright, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing while you get pampered.The rental rate starts at $150 for 4.5 hours, with $50 for each additional hour if you need extra time. The suite will be completely private for you and your bridal party, and you’re welcome to bring in food, drinks, and anything else to make the morning enjoyable.

Upon booking your reservation, we take an online deposit. In the form of Credit Card or Venmo. Trials are to be paid in Cash or Venmo directly to your artists or stylist. The final payment will be collected, the same way we collected your wedding deposit, 7 days before your wedding.

The initial deposit is required to secure your date. Amendments (changes to location, timing, and services) to your invoice can be made up until 60 days prior to your wedding date, in accordance with the contract guidelines. After that point, all services are locked in, and you are responsible for the full contracted amount. Final payment is due 30 days before the event.   We do not accept individual payments from bridal party members on the wedding day.

All prices listed on the website are base prices before gratuity. Your personalized Invoice will include a 20% gratuity for services rendered the day of the event. Holiday (day of and weekend of) weddings will have a 25% gratuity. You will never be charged gratuity on travel or parking fees.

In the event of a cancellation, the initial deposit/retainer fees are non-refundable and will be automatically forfeited. If the cancellation occurs 90 days or less before the wedding date, the full remaining balance will be due, excluding gratuity and travel fees. This ensures that our team can accommodate scheduling commitments while maintaining the highest level of service for all clients.
