Makeup Artist  Positions

​

We’re seeking skilled, dependable, and passionate makeup artists to join our bridal team.

 

What We’re Looking For

​

• Certification or professional experience is a plus — but we will train the right candidate

• Ability to perform both airbrush and traditional makeup

  • If you’re not airbrush‑certified yet, we offer in‑house airbrush training with a repayment plan

• A well‑stocked bridal makeup kit is preferred

  • Kit‑building options with a repayment plan are available if you’re still building your kit

• Strong understanding of skin prep, long‑wear bridal makeup, and lash application

• Ability to complete each service in 40 minutes (and 45 minutes for brides)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Current car insurance

• Ability to obtain Business Limited Liability insurance by your first wedding

  • We can help guide you through this and offer a repayment‑style option if needed

• Professionalism, excellent communication, and a calm, supportive presence on wedding mornings

• Weekend availability (Fri–Sun), with a flexible calendar

We’re expanding our team of talented bridal hairstylists.

 

What We’re Looking For

​

• Cosmetology license preferred

• Bridal hairstyling experience is a plus — but we will train the right stylist

• A professional bridal hair kit is preferred

  • Kit‑building options with a repayment plan are available

• Ability to complete each hairstyle in 40 minutes, and 45 minutes for brides

• Strong understanding of modern bridal styles, secure pinning, and longevity techniques

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Current car insurance

• Ability to obtain Business Limited Liability insurance by your first wedding

  • This can also be set up on a repayment‑style plan

• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude

• Weekend availability (with flexibility built in)

All positions with Melissa Ann Artistry + Co. are independent contractor roles.

We handle all marketing, advertising, booking, scheduling, client management, contracts, and timelines, so our artists can focus on providing exceptional service. Because we invest heavily in promoting our team and securing weddings, we have a non‑compete clause that prevents contractors from working with other bridal beauty teams or direct competitors.

Artists are paid per service and also receive:

• Gratuity

• Travel compensation

• Reliable, consistent wedding bookings

 

A standard 30% administrative deduction applies, which covers the extensive behind‑the‑scenes work we manage on your behalf.
